In Edson, Alberta, where Thoreen, Ghislain, and their children Danielle and Aaron made their home, a family enterprise began.  It started with a 36-passenger school bus transporting Kindergarten children to and from school.  From the beginning, Beaupre Bus Service was built on service - service to the children who were going off to school for the first time, and service to the parents who felt reassured that their children were being provided with a safe, reliable transportation.

In the next few years more school buses were added to the fleet.  Expansion in Edson and Hinton was Thoreen's next focus.  She saw opportunities available in the bussing industry and quickly responded to them.  By 1985, the newly budding bus enterprise required that Ghislain join forces to meet the demand.

The family business was being built year by year, on the foundation of good service coupled with competitive rates to live the family motto: "Treat your customers with courtesy and drive them safely to their destination and create treasured memories along the way."  In the years to follow, the Beaupres added luxury motorcoaches, mini-coaches, and passenger vans to their fleet, opening up a wide range of services to their customers.

Today, with the Head Office located in Edson and maintenance facilities in both Edson and Hinton, the company was positioned itself to provide any bussing and bus maintenance service for the entire  area of West Central Alberta.   After 36 years of business, Thoreen and Ghislain have passed the management torch on to their daughter: Danielle.
